Description
CentronRF CA-23R N-Type Lightning Arrester – 400 W, DC–3 GHz
The CentronRF CA-23R coaxial lightning arrester (surge protector) protects transceivers, base stations and receivers from lightning-induced surges on the antenna cable. Installed between the antenna and the radio, it diverts surge energy to ground through a 230V gas-discharge element while passing RF signals from DC–3 GHz with VSWR ≤1.15 and up to 400 W.
It uses N-type connectors (N-type male to male) and suits rooftop and tower antennas for cellular, Wi‑Fi, two-way radio, amateur radio and broadcast systems.

FAQ
Where should I install the lightning arrester?
Install it where the coaxial cable enters the building or equipment shelter, and connect its ground point to a good earth with a short, heavy ground wire.
Does it replace proper grounding?
No. A coaxial arrester works together with a good grounding system for the mast, antenna and equipment.
